Dr. Truhlar is not your typical "chiro". He is NOT a bone cracker: "Here's a pop, there's a pop, see 'ya next time. oh, by the way, my rates are going up next month". The single most impactful decision I have made regarding my physical well being was choosing Dr. Truhlar for chiropractic services. Some ten years ago, I admit I was somewhat skeptical about utilizing a chiropractor. I was assured by more than one person that Dr. Truhlar is the very best at what he does. Dr. Truhlar listens and has a lot of knowledge about the human body and how it is designed to work, from mechanics to biochemistry. He always helps me feel better and I don't trust any other doctor as much as I do trust Dr Truhlar.

I began treatment with Dr. Truhlar, I believe, in 2011 after realizing that the most common form of adjustments were too hard on my fibromyalgic body. Dr Truhlar works in a very gentle, yet extremely effective manner. His adjustments allow me to stay functional without having to suffer the consequences of being roughly manhandled as I had been with past "traditional" adjustments. I have complicated and various issues with my spine, in particular my neck. I also suffer with vertigo and so I had always been so VERY nervous with having anyone work on my neck. I was searching for a chiropractor that worked outside of the "one size fits all" mentality. A majority of chiropractors, will adjust every patient exactly the same way. They will "pop" your lower back, the middle(thoracic), then your neck. Done. Dr. Truhlar often spends 30 minutes or longer working, not just the spine itself, but the surrounding muscles as well. Dr. Truhlar does not "crack" my neck the way other chiropractors have. He expertly corrects my fragile spine without having to traumatize it in the process! I have absolutely no fear of being hurt in any way from his techniques. In addition to chiropractic treatment, Dr. Truhlar is a BOARD CERTIFIED natropathic medical doctor, who has helped countless patients with health concerns that conventional medicine just does NOT adequately address. Have been seeing Dr. T since winter of 2008. The first thing that struck me was how much he cared. He takes time to listen to his patients which in turn enables the patient to learn to listen to their own bodies. He doesn't give up when other conventional doctors have thrown their hands up in the air at a loss. Dr. T is always willing to do more research on puzzling topics/issues - whereas in past experiences with other doctors, if it was an issue they hadn't heard about it basically didn't exist, no further research on their part, just end of discussion. He is the best chiropractor for miles around (that's why we drive 50 miles one way)! He adjusted me during my pregnancy and has been adjusting our daughter since birth. We won't trust any other doctor to adjust our precious miracle. It is Dr. T that we turn to when we have any medical issue as we trust his advice and care. Our now almost 3-year old daughter knows Dr. T better than her pediatrician. It's to Dr. T that she takes her baby dolls when they get sick :-) because she knows he can fix anything! Through Dr. T's help, we were able to have our sweet daughter after 5+ years of infertility. We are truly blessed to have crossed paths with him. Christy, at the front desk, is a great compliment to a wonderful practice. She and Dr. T are a great team and that is so important for the overall environment of the practice.
